My design work includes a variety of types of projects ranging from essays, magazine and books to furniture, sculpture and architecture, always in collaboration with others. I don’t claim to be a uniquely talented designer, nor have a distinctive aesthetic. Rather, I enjoy co-creating and value varied experiences, patience and connections to many communities as guidance in finding expressions.

At surface level, I enjoy building complicated assemblies, but, more abstractly, I am enthusiastic about coordinating seemingly-divergent constraints. Whether it’s in the form of architectural design, fabrication, research, politics, education , etc., my pursuit as a designer has been to work towards common ground. I hope to engage in a practice that [in the words of Lina Bo Bardi] “achieves the maximum communication and dignity with minimal, humble means.”
